Arson suspected in overnight fires
Police are investigating three arson attacks in Emerald this morning.
Around 2am police attended Borilla Street following reports of a car on fire. They found a van damaged by a fire that had been extinguished by a passer-by.
Whilst investigating that incident police were then called to a nearby building, also on Borilla Street, to find it was also on fire.
The office building was extensively damaged by the fire.
No injuries were reported from either incident.
A crime scene has been established and investigations will continue into the cause of the fires in the morning.
