BIG BROTHER is set to hit our living rooms again in 2014 and nominations are now open. But there is a twist.

This year, the show's producers are asking people to nominate their friends for the reality-television show.

One eager beaver has today put out a request on social media to his friends to nominate him for the show.

Paul "Browny" Brown, radio breakfast show host in Central Queensland, wants to follow in his mate's footsteps.

Big Brother 2013 winner Tim Dormer and 26-year-old Browny worked together a few years back on a radio show on the Gold Coast.

"I'd love to see what kind of person I really am when I'm thrown into a house with no exit surrounded by people I don't know," Browny said.

"Will they like me for who I am or be offended by my opinions and beliefs, that's the ultimate question!

"I can't stand seeing fake people on tv that don't stand up for what they believe in or are just push overs when they try and stand their ground.

"Everyone should embrace who they really are and not feel like they have to conform to fit in!"

Check out Browny's Facebook page and his twitter handle is @brownypaul.
