Vehicle speeds, runs red lights after street race in Rocky

10.10am: REPORTS indicate a blue vehicle that evaded police on Musgrave and High Streets moments ago was involved in a street race this morning.

Reports indicate the vehicle now speeding through Rockhampton and running red lights is a blue Mitsubishi wagon that has no current registration.

It is believed it was involved in a street race with a silver sedan at 9.20am.

9.56am: MOTORISTS are advised to be aware of a Blue sedan that has just evaded police at the Musgrave and High Streets intersection.

Reports indicate the vehicle was continuing to travel at high speeds and run red lights towards the Rockhampton CBD along Musgrave St.

The rego plates do not match the vehicle.

Reports indicate three people are in the vehicle.
