POLICE are investigating a car crash on the old Fitzroy Bridge, which closed the road off at 4am today.
The Bulletin understands a car was taken and the offender had absconded when firefighters arrived at the scene, said a fire spokeswoman.
Police could not be contacted for further comment this morning.
