Caravan destroyed by fire

UPDATE 2.15pm: Fire crews have put out the blaze which destroyed a caravan on the Burnett Hwy near Thangool.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the incident happened near the Thangool dump.

One lane of the highway has reopened.

There is believed to be no injuries.

BREAKING, 12.10am: A caravan has been destroyed by fire and the Burnett Highway is blocked near Thangool. 

Details are sketchy but it's believed the incident involving a car towing a van happened near the transfer station.
