Double fatality on Bruce Hwy
10.30pm: Two 15-year-old boys have been killed when the motorbike they were riding collided with a ute at Balberra, south of Mackay this evening.
Initial information suggests the crash occurred around 6.30pm on the Bruce Hwy.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Forensic Crash Unit.
The Bruce Highway is still closed, traffic diversions are in place.
There is no further information available at this time.

7pm: THE Bruce Highway is closed just south of Mackay due to a double fatality.
Initial reports suggest the crash, which occurred near Homebush Rd, was between a car and a motorcycle.
It is believed two people are dead.
