Dream tour to Royal Ascot
READY to hit the skies to embark on the trip of a lifetime, Helen Byrne can barely contain her excitement.With partner Rob Neville, she will join 32 other people from around Australia on the Black Magic Tour, which will showcase their favourite steed Black Caviar, which who is scheduled to race at Royal Ascot.Speaking just days before her departure, Helen said she was looking forward to all the amazing places they would visit with the highlight being being a trip to the Queen's stables at Sandringham, which is a rare treat and not generally permitted for members of the public."Who knows, I might catch the Queen mucking out the stables!" Helen said in jest."Obviously our main highlight will be seeing Black Caviar race. She makes my heart beat faster when I see her run."Both Helen and Rob are keen racehorse enthusiasts, who are current syndicate partners.Helen said Rob had spent all his adult life in the racing world as owner, punter and strapper, and while she was a newer convert to the racing world, she was just as passionate as her partner.The Black Magic Tour will take Helen and Rob on a journey through England, France and Ireland, visiting studs, stables and museums.They will stay in top-class accommodations along the way and sample exquisite food and wine. The highlight of the journey will be the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, where the unbeaten Black Caviar will race. Helen said she planned to have a bet on the day and expected the odds to be low, as her favourite, Black Caviar was sure to be a shoo-in.No pic
