Emily goes from iTunes to stage
BETWEEN homework, a production of Hairspray and releasing chart-topping hits on iTunes, Yeppoon's Emily Brown is one busy teenager.
At 17, Emily has already released seven songs on iTunes with some topping the original singer's version.
Now, only a few months after becoming an online sensation, she'll perform some of her covers including her first, Skyscraper, which put her in the spotlight, at the Frenchville Sports Club on August 10.
At a black-tie event opening for award-winning Australian comedian Harley Breen, Emily said she's very excited to play a real gig.
"It's really exciting to finally be able to play to people," she said.
"Once school is over I'm going to be more focused on recording an album and doing more shows here."
