Firebirds hunting Pulse victory

Thinkstock

THE Central Pulse netball team has never won a game in 10 attempts in Australia.

The best the Kiwi team has managed in the trans-Tasman championship is to earn a draw after a leaky roof caused the game against Perth's West Coast Fever to be called off in 2008.

Now fans of the defending champions, the Queensland Firebirds, are hoping their team doesn't leak another loss.

The Firebirds take on the Pulse fromm 12.10pm in Brisbane tomorrow and the Queenslanders need to discover some winning form after losing on their home court against the Vixens and the Thunderbirds, while the Pulse has started the season with a win and a loss.
