A CAR has rolled into the Fitzroy River near the boat club.

It is not known at this stage why the vehicle has ended up in the drink.

Police have advised the Harbour Master and Marine Services Queensland of the possible danger caused by the vehicle being submerged.

Police are still investigating and as soon as the tide drops to reveal the vehicle emergency crews will pull the vehicle from the river.
