FIVE people were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 10.26am today at Matthew Flinders and Scenic drives at the southern end of Yeppoon.

The cars involved were a Honda Civic and a Toyota Hi-Ace campervan.

The 78-year-old female driver of the Honda Civic received an on-the-spot fine from police for failing to give way to the Campervan at a giveway sign.

One other passenger was travelling with the woman in the Honda while the campervan had three German tourists riding in it.

No one was hurt but both vehicles had to be towed away after the accident.
