Golfing teams win all round

THE North Queensland pennants was a triumph on the weekend for Mackay and Black Springs golfing teams.

Mackay's B and C Grade teams both celebrated after claiming the flags on the weekend at Bowen and Proserpine respectively.

Black Springs teams also won in B and G grades at Ayr and at home.

Mackay's B-Grade side played in division 2 in Bowen and will return to the top division next year while C-Grade claimed the division 1 title in their first year back in the top grade.

B and C-grade captains Greg Coad and Dave Watling have thrown out the challenge to the club's A-graders to make it a clean sweep in 2013.
