Jessica Watson bound for Keppel Bay
Jessica Watson will be at the finish line at Keppel Bay Marina on August r to help welcome home the boats competing in the Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race
The 348 nautical mile races starts east of Green Island on Brisbane's Moreton Bay on Friday 3rd August and finishes off the break wall at Keppel Bay Marina on Sunday 5th August. The Marina and Ms Watson will play host to the sailors and spectators on the Sunday following the finish of the big race.
Ms Watson is the Ambassador for Queensland's Season of Sailing, a Tourism Queensland initiative celebrating the major sailing events conducted along Queensland's coast between March and September.
