Man injured in CQ crash

A CENTRAL Queensland man was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital on Wednesday after suffering spinal and head injuries in a car accident.

A statement by the RACQ Capricorn Rescue Helicopter Rescue Service said the man, 22, was transported from Blackwater Hospital after being involved in the crash earlier that morning.

He was reported to be in a stable condition.

This was one of two jobs the rescue service completed on Wednesday.

A woman, 35, was also airlifted to Rockhampton for treatment from Curtis Island after she suffered a severe allergic reaction while working.
