Man reportedly armed with machete causing disturbance

BREAKING 6.30PM: MULTIPLE police crews are responding to reports of an armed person at New Zealand Gully Rd, Mt Chalmers. 

Initial reports suggest a man is armed with a machete and is causing damage to property at the address. 

More to come. 

UPDATE 6.45PM: POLICE have arrived on scene at the New Zealand Gully Rd address. 

Reports indicate the machete wielding man involved has decamped from the address. 

There have been no reports of injuries.
