One stabbed in leg in fight involving a bat and pick axe

TWO people have been arrested after an altercation in Koongal last night that led to one person being stabbed in the leg.

Around 7pm a man and a woman went to a house in Koongal with a cricket bat and the handle of a pick axe after a previous argument with the residents.

There were two males, a female and two children inside the house at the time.

The residents managed to disarm them, but in the process one of the alleged intruders was stabbed in the leg with a knife.

The residents sustained minor injuries.
