Police arrest two men for Rockhampton hotel armed robbery
THIS afternoon police arrested two Rockhampton men for the armed robbery of Raffles Hotel earlier this month.
Rockhampton CIB staff have been working tirelessly for the past two weeks to find two men who allegedly threatened the hotel manager with a knife in the early hours of November 12.
After the armed heist the pair allegedly sped off in a dark green Ford Falcon, reaching speeds of up to 120kmh on the Neville Hewitt Bridge.
The pair was arrested about 3pm today in Rockhampton.
The two, aged 22 and 24, will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow morning charged with armed robbery.
