Escaped prisoner back in custody
BREAKING 2.30pm: Police have caught a prisoner who had escaped police custody while attending Rockhampton Hospital.
Police officers recaptured the accused offender in Wandal after the fugitive had been spotted running down Herbert St.
BREAKING 2.20pm: Police are searching for a fugitive who escaped custody while at Rockhampton Hospital.
Police units are converging on the area around the hospital as they try and locate the offender who is believed to have been arrested on a dangerous drugs charge.
