UPDATE: Woman in hospital, another arrested after CBD brawl

UPDATE 5PM: A WOMAN has been arrested and transported to the Rockhampton watch house by police.

Police have left the scene.

UPDATE 4.50pm: IT IS understood the 67-year-old woman injured in the brawl has been transported to hospital by the Queesland Ambulance Service. 

Further reports suggest police have the disturbance under control. 

UPDATE 4.40pm: REPORTS indicate a 67-year-old woman linked to the brawl has presented at the Rockhampton Police Station in Bolsover St with a head injury. 

Queensland Ambulance officers have been called to treat the woman who has suffered an eye injury.

BREAKING 4.30PM: POLICE are responding to reports of a large, physical fight on the Fitzroy riverbank. 

Initial reports suggest up to 12 people are involved in the disturbance. 

Multiple police crews have been called to respond to the situation.
