'Real burger' hits CQ
THE real burger has arrived in Rockhampton, according to Global Burgers owner Dave Peers.
The new store, located on George St in Rockhampton, held its grand opening last on Wednesday, which Dave said went exceptionally well.
"We've been busy and I've noticed a few people in here saying that they love it," he said.
Dave and his brother Ross, who is now head chef at the new store, are the previous owners of Rossco's Restaurant and Bar.
After closing down the restaurant, they decided to make the move to faster food.
"I just really like the idea of gourmet burgers from around the world," Dave said.
"There's nothing else like it in Rocky."
