Rockhampton shop owner takes 'catch a crim' to next level

A ROCKHAMPTON shop owner has taken "catch a crim" to a new level.

The owner has posted CCTV footage of a man stealing from his shop on Facebook in the hopes someone will identify the person and tell police.

The owner has asked it's followers to share the post and tagged other news outlets to try and get the message across 'don't steal from us'.

The store - The Happy Herb Shop - located in the East St Mall, has been the target of thieves before.

The owner of this store also owns the same shop in Gladstone, which was also targeted by thieves recently.

If you have any information about this theft and/or thief, please call Crimestoppers on anonymously via 1800 333 000 or 24hrs a day.
