Rocky airport security confiscate weapon from passenger

UPDATE 9AM: A PASSENGER carrying a credit card knife was intercepted by airport security this morning.

Rockhampton police said the passenger departed for their destination prior to police arrival and investigations were continuing.

7.30AM: POLICE have been called to the Rockhampton Airport this morning after security confiscated an unusual weapon.

Reports indicate airport security have confiscated a credit card knife from a passenger.

It is believed security also have the passenger's details to hand to police.
