Rocky mayor candidates face off

VOTERS will have the chance to see and hear the five candidates for Rockhampton Regional Council mayor outline their policies during a forum at CQUniversity.

The Tuesday forum will give Brad Carter, Dominic Doblo, Tim Griffin, Margaret Strelow and Lea Taylor an opportunity to address the public on a series of key projects identified by Capricorn Enterprise.

They will also be asked to speak about their own priorities, their leadership qualities, how they will approach the budget and how they will make the region a better place for all of us to live.

Readers of The Morning Bulletin, and audience members at the forum, have a chance to put the candidates on the spot by submitting their own questions.

The two-hour forum is scheduled for noon on Tuesday in Building 18 at CQUniversity's Rockhampton campus.

Questions should be sent to tmbully@capnews.com or via reader comments to this story.
