Serious crash on Bruce Hwy
UPDATE 5.58PM: TWO adults and three children are in Mackay Base Hospital after a collision on the Bruce Highway near Sarina this afternoon.
It is believed the car they were travelling in collided with a truck.
The crash occurred on a notorious section of the Bruce Highway, just south of the Hay Point turn-off.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
1.05pm: EMERGENCY services are responding to reports of a serious crash on the Bruce Highway, north of Rockhampton.
It is believed a cattle truck and a car have collided near the Perry Rd turnoff, near Alligator Creek.
Initial reports suggest the car rolled about four times before coming to a stop.
