Shot fired, windows damaged and four charged after fight

FOUR people have been charged following a fight at a North Rockhampton residence yesterday.

A man and woman attended a Simpson Street home around 1.45am before a disturbance occurred between the pair and three occupants of the house.

During the disturbance, it will be alleged front windows and walls of the residence were damaged and a firearm was discharged from inside the home.

A 31-year-old Norman Gardens woman was charged with one count each of wilful damage and threatening violence.

A 47-year-old Berserker man was charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon and dangerous conduct with a weapon.

A 22-year-old Berserker woman was charged with one count each of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of a utensil, receiving tainted property, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of explosives without authority (ammunition).

A 24-year-old Berserker man was charged with one count each of possession of dangerous drugs, receiving tainted property, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of explosives without authority (ammunition).

They are all due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on November 16.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
