SMOKE hanging over Rockhampton's CBD is coming from a controlled near JBS Australia Meatworks.
A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the controlled burn started at 10am near the St Christophers Chapel Rd/Emu Park Rd intersection.
She said it was expected to be finished after 2pm.
