Stolen vehicle disappears around Allenstown Plaza area

11.30am: POLICE are searching the carparks and surrounds of Allenstown Plaza for a stolen vehicle.

The last confirmed sighting of the vehicle was on the Bruce Highway, south of Rockhampton, traveling at excessive speeds towards the beef capital.

Reports indicate the vehicle is a silver Honda Accord sedan.

Police received reports the car may have been parked at Allenstown Plaza, but so far, a search of the area has been unable to locate it.

11.20am: A STOLEN vehicle being tracked down by police after it was seen by truck drivers traveling at excessive speeds was last seen near the Rockhampton information centre on Gladstone Rd.

11.10am: POLICE are trying to track down a stolen vehicle that is reported by truck drivers as traveling at excessive speeds on the Bruce Highway.

The vehicle was last seen by drivers at Midgee, near the Kangaroo Country Caravan Park, travelling from Gladstone towards Rockhampton.
