Tony Abbott launches his fourth book

I N the final week of parliamentary sittings, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott made himself pretty scarce around the House, appearing just once so far to launch his fourth book.

The book, titled A Strong Australia, was essentially a compilation of nine of his "landmark speeches", outlining the Liberal Party's "values, directions and policy priorities" for any government Mr Abbott would lead.

It traverses various policy issues, from the Coalition's "Stop the Boats" catchphrase, to fiscal strategy, the National Disability Insurance Scheme and attacks on Labor's class war political tactics.

The book was published by the Liberal Party, and did not release any information which was not already in his speeches this year.
