TWO Super Hornets from RAAF Base Amberley will conduct necessary diversion training at Brisbane International Airport today from 2pm.

The F/A-18F Super Hornets from Number 1 and 6 Squadrons at Amberley will conduct circuit training including a "touch and go" at Brisbane International Airport that is planned to conclude at 3.30pm.

The flights are an essential part of pilot continuation training on the F/A-18F Super Hornets as Brisbane International Airport is one of the main diversion airfields should RAAF Base Amberley be unusable due to weather.

Please note these dates and times are subject to change.

For more information on RAAF Amberley's flying activities ring 1800 333 3623 and ask for RAAF Base Amberley.
