Two people recovering in hospital after accidents

AN ALTON Downs man and a Yeppoon woman both remain in Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital following two separate accidents in recent days.

A 51-year-old man is in a critical condition following a farming accident at Alton Downs in which a towing hitch struck him in the back on Monday.

Suspected injuries include a broken pelvis, multiple facial and head wounds and internal damage.

Patricia Forbes (pictured), 47, is in a stable condition and recovering from multiple injuries, including head injuries, following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Rockhampton-Yeppoon Rd on Saturday.
