Two people in critical condition after accident on Bruce Hwy

UPDATE:  The Bruce Hwy is now closed from the scene at the scene of the accident. 

Major delays should be expected. 

 

UPDATE: TWO people are in a critical condition following a three vehicle accident on the Bruce Hwy, south of Miriam Vale. 

There are also 6 other injured people, who require transportation to a hospital. 

The Morning Bulletin understands the two people in a critical condition will now be transported by helicopter. 

 

Breaking 3.40pm: EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a three vehicle accident on the Bruce Hwy. 

The accident, which occurred roughly 3km south of Miriam Vale just before 3:30pm today, has left six people with varying injuries. 

It is understood that two people are still entrapped in a vehicle but are conscious. 

The rescue and clean up has been hindered by heavy rain in the area.
