Upgraded toilets vandalised

ROCKHAMPTON Regional Council is disappointed, having recently made a significant financial investment at the Beachside Caravan Park Amenities to find it vandalised over the Easter weekend.

Council's Business Enterprise Committee chair, councillor Graeme Brady, said one of the blocks which was opened for public use in time for the Easter break having undergone a much-needed service, upgrade and refurbishment, was vandalised during its first few days of public use.

"I was very disappointed to hear that holiday makers had vandalised these amenities, not only during their first few days of operation but also during a time of family celebration," he said.
