Video: Industry representatives talk with teens at expo

ALTHOUGH Josh Wilkinson and Brendan Sutton have a pretty clear idea of their future career, they are always open to more information.

The pair took the chance to talk to dozens of different representatives at the Communications to Careers expo at The Cathedral College on Monday.

"Doing this sort of stuff is good ... we've been finding out how (the representatives) got where they are," Josh said.

"Most have said just go with the flow, don't stick to one thing because you mightn't like it."

Graham Archer from Quest Serviced Apartments said the event was more about sharing life lessons with the teens than talking exclusively about a specific industry.

"It's a good opportunity to share our experience with these students," he said.

"We want to contribute to the local community."
