Year 12 students prepare for QCS

YEAR 12 students are preparing for the Queensland Core Skills test with the first test tomorrow.

The QCS test is one of the mechanisms used by the Queensland  Studies Authority to ensure fairness and accuracy in the assessment process that is used to determine OP scores.

On the first day, students have a Writing Task (2 hours) followed by a Multiple Choice Question Paper (1.5 hours).

On the second day, there is a Short Response Item paper (2 hours) and a second Multiple Choice Question Paper (1.5 hours).

Undergoing these tests tends to be stressful for many students.
