Yeppoon motorcyclist breaks leg

A YEPPOON man, whose motorcycle went into the rear end of a four-wheel-drive on Charles St, Yeppoon, this morning, is in Rockhampton Hospital with a fractured leg.

The 21-year-old was taken to hospital by ambulance after the accident just after 7.30am.

Traffic on Charles St was confined to one lane for about an hour before the road was restored to regular flow around 8.30am.

Yeppoon police Sergeant Doug Imhoff said there were two occupants in the Nissan vehicle but they were unharmed.
