Young Rocky man dies after being injured in two accidents

Update 9.45am: A Queensland Fire Service officer said the accident occurred on McKenzie Rd, Alton Downs.

 

7.30am: A 23-year-old Park Avenue man has died following a traffic crash at Alton Downs last night.

Police media said initial information suggests the man was thrown from his vehicle after it rolled numerous times at about 11.15pm Saturday.

Shortly after the man was thrown from his vehicle he was struck by another vehicle that was travelling in the opposite direction.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
