Mum: Rule left kids too hungry
ANOTHER Rockhampton mum says she took her children out of Park Avenue School over its controversial junk-food policy. Yesterday The Morning Bulletin revealed that Shantelle Craven had removed her two boys from the state school because they were not allowed to eat enough food during the school day. Shantelle claimed her kids were left starving by a regime that allowed them just one sandwich at 10am and a small piece of fruit or cheese or a small pot of yoghurt at lunchtime.
