Dhana goes for second title

Crystal Ansford, Rachelle Carige, Danielle Schuller, Dahna Martin and Anja Zemilcoff were all in heat four of Best Model Australia at Strutters Nightclub last Saturday night. Rachelle, Danielle and Dahna will vie for the title with nine other girls in the final this weekend.

CAN Rockhampton's Dahna Martin do it again?

Last year the 180cm tall blonde beauty represented Rockhampton in the Best Model Australia national final and this Saturday night she's hoping to take the title out once more.

Dahna, 21, will take the stage at Strutters Nightclub against 12 other local models this weekend.

Although she hopes to claim the winning crown, modelling is something Dahna enjoys as a “girly girl”.

“It's not just about parading on a catwalk, it's just personal satisfaction of standing out and being different,” she said yesterday.

“Modelling is something I will continue with, but I'm not sure if it'll be a career path.”

Dahna is now studying and working as a massage therapist at Len Bauer's Massage & Rejuvenation Centre.

She described last year's national final as “the best experience ever”.

So it's no wonder she wants to do it all over again.

Best Model Australia is not just another swimwear competition - it allows models to combine the latest fashion with their choice of music and choreography to showcase their catwalk ability and personality.

This weekend two stunning new models enter the stage - Danielle Schuller and Rachelle Carige.

To find out how these blonde bombshells go, be sure to be at the competition, which opens at midnight.

If you're at the club before 10pm you will be able to enter for free.

The Strutters Nightclub winner will fly to the Gold Coast for five fun-filled days staying at the Mantra Sun City Resort in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

She will join up to 30 other finalists from Australia and New Zealand.
