PROTESTORS gather outside the Rockhampton Courthouse this morning after the arrest of two people for failing to comply with a police direction.

Jessica Morrison and fellow Peace Convergence activists leant moral support outside the Rockhampton Watchhouse to two of their colleagues who were arrested after blocking an access road to the Shoalwater Bay training area.

PROTESTORS gather outside the Rockhampton Courthouse this morning after the earlier arrest of two people for failing to comply with a police direction.

It is alleged the pair of protestors attempted to prevent traffic from proceeding along Raspberry Creek Road near the intersection with the Bruce Highway, Glen Geddes, north of Rockhampton, around 7.10am this morning

The men, aged 53 and 49, have been charged with one count each of contravening a move on direction.

Both men are due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Protestors are in Central Queensland to voice concerns about the $300million military training operation, Talisman Saber, which started this week at Shoalwater Bay.
