It’s time to show off your green thumbs, Rockhampton region, with nomination forms out now for the 2009 Regional Garden Competition.

Nomination forms are available from Rockhampton Regional Council’s website and from Council’s Customer Service Centres, local nurseries and category sponsors:

Entry is open to contestants from all localities within the Rockhampton region – so get your gardening gloves on and enter now!

This year’s competition theme is ‘Frangipanis, Rockhampton region’s horticultural gift to Queensland’.

Judging will take place between September 14 and 18, 2009.

Nominations close at 4pm on Monday, August 24, 2009 and nomination forms can be placed in entry boxes or posted to 2009 Rockhampton Regional Council Garden Competition, P.O. Box 1860, Rockhampton 4700.
