FLOODING in Baffle Creek continues to cut off the road between Agnes Water and Bundaberg this morning.
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded a level of 8.25m at Essendean Bridge on Tableland Rd at 9.15am after reaching a peak level of 8.9m at 10.30pm yesterday.
The Bureau said flood levels in Baffle Creek were receding, with a level of 13.64m at Mimdale at 5am today.
A spokesman for the flood warning centre said Tableland Road was still cut off, but flood levels were decreasing rapidly.
He expects the road will be re-opened within the next 48 hours.
