Tragic drowning shocks community

THE tragic circumstances surrounding the drowning of a Mt Morgan mother have come to light.

Pauline Grieve, 46, was wrenched from her son by powerful floodwaters at Bouldercombe Gorge, south of Rockhampton, on Sunday.

Ms Grieve was visiting the Mount Usher Falls with her 18-year-old son, her daughter and other relatives.
