    • SELF-EVACUATIONS from Great Keppel Island will start this afternoon.

    People are leaving North Keppel Island this morning.

    Freedom Fast Cats is due to arrive at Yeppoon's Rosslyn Bay Harbour this morning with school children from North Keppel.

    Residents and visitors to Great Keppel Island are due to arrive in Yeppoon later this afternoon.

    Max Allen, of Freedom Fast Cats, said they decided to give people the chance to leave before it was too late.
