Some roads reopen after flooding

<strong>3PM UPDATE:</strong> Some roads in the Rockhampton region have reopened after being cut off by localised flooding earlier this week.

SOME roads in the Rockhampton region have reopened after being cut off by localised flooding earlier this week.

Here is the latest update from Rockhampton Regional Council:

Eastern areas:

* Bald Hills Road - CLOSED at 8-mile Creek

* Bungundarra Road - OPEN

* Byfield Road - OPEN

* Doonside Road - CLOSED at Hedlow Creek

* Duaringa-Apis Creek Road - still CLOSED from February rain event

* Lake Mary Road - CLOSED western end

* Old Byfield Road - OPEN

* Sleipner Road - CLOSED at Nankin Creek

* Stanage Bay Road - CLOSED at Tilpal Creek

* Thompson Point Road - CLOSED at Nankin Creek

* Todds Road - still CLOSED from February rain event

* Waterpark Road - CLOSED at Waterpark Creek

Western areas:

* Capricorn Street, Gracemere - OPEN

* Fairy Bower Road - CLOSED at Scrubby Creek

* Johnson Road, Gracemere - OPEN

* Kabra-Scrubby Creek Road - CLOSED at Scrubby Creek

* Macquarrie Street, Gracemere - OPEN

* Malchi-Nine Mile Road - OPEN

* Middle Road, Gracemere - OPEN

* Roopes Road - CLOSED at Roopes Bridge

* Rosewood Road - CLOSED 17km in from Wycarbah end

* Rosewood Road - also 10-mile creek crossing washed out
