OPTUS customers in the Yeppoon area have reported having no mobile phone service over the weekend and today.
A spokesperson from Optus said transmission problems with its mobile network in the Yeppoon region caused the disruption.
The spokesperson said Optus technicians working to restore the service had been hindered by wet weather.
“Optus technicians are back on site today and are currently working to restore services as a priority,” the spokesperson said.
“We expect service to be restored at lunchtime today and we apologise to our customers for any inconvenience.”
