AUTHORITIES are on their way to a plane crash near Gladstone.
The aircraft went down on Wiggins Island, east of Gladstone, about 11am.
It is believed seven people were on board.
Five of those have been airlifted to Gladstone Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The plane was a Cessna 206 aircraft being used by Adrenaline Skydivers.
The company told AAP the people on board were believed to be a father and two sons, three tandem jump masters and the pilot.
The plane experienced engine troubles upon take-off at 10.30am, before crashing 4.5km away on Wiggins Island.
