JESSE Hutchinson used to watch his sister from the door in dance class secretly tapping away to the beat.

Until one day he couldn’t sit still any longer and he joined in too.

That was three years ago and tomorrow it’s Jesse’s turn to show us his dance moves when he hits the Pilbeam Theatre stage in Beverley Prange Dance Centre’s end of year concert Encore 2010.

The 16-year-old said joining jazz class was the best decision and he loves it. He is just one of 13 boys, aged from six to 16, at the dance school.

Dance students will perform 21 routines tomorrow from 2pm – most are award winning items from this year’s Rockhampton Eisteddfod.

It will also be the last chance to see senior students Jessica Harris, Nicola Berg and Amber Oliver perform.

Get your tickets by calling (07) 4927 4111.

Otherwise visit the school’s website.
