Just heading out to the shed boat

This unusual shed boat was captured by the Capricorn Coast’s Denise Goltz while her and her husband were fishing in Coorooman Creek this week.

THE last thing Denise Goltz and her husband expected to see while returning from checking their crab pots in Coorooman Creek this week was a shed drifting on the water.

At first they thought it was a house, but on closer inspection, the Capricorn Coast couple discovered something more.

“It looks like a shed on some sort of raft,” Denise said from her boat on Wednesday.

They noticed it was complete with a crab pot, lighting, solar panels and a deck!

Denise has since found out the “shed boat” had dragged its anchor and drifted down the creek near the Keppel Sands boat ramp.

“It was something to tell our kids about and they were as surprised as we were,” Denise said after returning home from her fishing trip.
