1000 families expected to call Edenbrook home
AFTER years of hard work, the minds who poured their heart into designing Rockhampton's first master-planned community celebrated its launch ceremony on Thursday.
The proud project director of Edenbrook, Melissa Hytch, said their vision was to create a picturesque retreat that was not too far from the city.
Located off Belmont Rd, Rockhampton Mayor Margaret Strelow and Edenbrook shareholders Grant McOmish and Dr Peter Dunbar were able to delight in the estate at the opening.
Edenbrook is expected to be home to more than 1000 families.

"We have listened intently to prospective buyers who are looking to build in a picturesque and peaceful locale, yet still be within easy reach of the city," Ms Hytch said.
"It is imperative that families can retreat home at the end of a long day and relax, without having to endure long drives in and out of town.
"Edenbrook most definitely fills that brief."
Developed amongst bushland to take advantage of the natural setting, Edenbrook's blocks of land reach from traditional sizes to up to 2000sq m.
Stages one and two incorporate 32 home sites placed along Edenbrook and Oakmont drives.
