80 PHOTOS: 30,000 cheer on top-fuel racing at Winternats

MORE than 30,000 drag racing fanatics crammed into the Willowbank Raceway for four days of heart-stopping action at the Winternationals, and they didn't go home disappointed.

The event resulted in the crowning of the nation's first female professional drag racing champion on Sunday.

Queensland competitor Kelly Bettes took out the 400 Thunder Top Fuel Championship on the final day of the annual Winternats at Willowbank Raceway.
